Gosford High School is a state, academically selective coeducational high school located on the Central Coast of NSW. Our school was established in 1927 and is the original high school for the area.

We are proud of the academic achievements of our students and our demonstrated excellence in all areas of endeavour is a clear reflection of the breadth of our curriculum and the variety of co-curricular opportunities available for all our students.

Our gifted and talented students work cooperatively in a stimulating, relaxed but structured and secure learning environment. The culture of learning is evident thorough the active participation of students in their lessons and their engagement with ideas, each other and their teachers. Our vision is to challenge and motivate our students to develop the skills and capacities that will empower them as global citizens in a rapidly changing world. As befits the future leaders of our society we place a strong emphasis on student leadership and have a number of innovative programs in place to foster authentic leadership development.

Gosford High has a teaching staff with a wealth of expertise and experience. Many are representatives on academic committees and Board of Studies syllabus and examination committees.

Our P&C actively support the school and we encourage and welcome parent and community participation in the school.
